Water Activities Manager
North East Wake Park
Bishopton Lake TS21 1 EY
A Water Activities manager is required, for the Wakepark, Aquapark and Water Activities at Bishopton Lake.
Based in the countryside , Bishopton Lake is 3 miles outside of Stockton on Tees, with close links to the A1 and A19.

This is an opportunity which would require an enthusiastic, hard working and adaptable person.
Water activities are seasonal and take place from 1st May to the end of October when water activities cease
The position would then change to online equipment sales and despatch with , which operates all year round and is based at the same site.

Duties would be wide ranging and include.
North East Wake Park -Supervision of Water Activities: (British Summertime)
Marketing and promotion through website, emails and promotions.
Organisation of customer bookings
Oversight of part time staff.
Maintenance of equipment.
Health and Safety procedures.

(British Wintertime)

Despatch of online orders and sales with customer present,
Goods in.
Website product updating and editing.

The ideal candidate would be an enthusiastic water sports person, preferably with  familiarity and coaching qualifications in a wide range of watersports including  wakeboarding; windsurfing; paddleboarding; kiteboarding and open water swimming.
Be IT competent and familiar with on line marketing and promotion through IT and Social Media.
Qualifications to be obtained if not current:
DBS certification
First Aid Qualification
Lifeguard Qualification
Cable Wakepark Operator
Power boat certificate

In House training can be given.

Not Qualified ? If you want to become an operator you can be trained  here at our wake park.

Water Activity assistants   help with the other activities taking place such as the Aquapark, Paddleboarding and Open Water Swimming. There are plenty of ways to  help out at North East Wake Park. We can fully train you to become an operator or you can volunteer to help out and get free riding. A great place  to get your training and start working in this awesome industry.

Day Volunteers
Lots of jobs that need doing, like handing out flyers, putting up posters, cleaning wetsuits, helping with  Special events,  Kids Clubs and Wake Academy’s and many more. When you help out you can gain free riding time!
